I want to let you know about a blog that I’ve been building… just because I love Haute Couture. So guess what it’s called? ilovehautecouture.com!
My point to sending this message is that for the year 2011, I’ll be transitioning to the blog. There are a number of reasons why:
1. Life has just been bringing me one disappointment after another, and frankly, I just want to do what I love doing without all the stress behind it.
2. Haute Couture is what inspired me to be the fashion designer I am today.
3. I’m not leaving MinnaK, I’m making it more.
4. I love it.
So there you go…to tell you the truth, when I made this blog, I just wanted to post up what I found interesting about this art. The more I read about it, the more it inspired me to give it my creative all to design one of a kind clothing. So that’s what I’m going to do. The blog will talk about Haute Couture, and it will also talk about my concept, development and the final piece. I think it will be fun! Maybe you can make something with me!
Disclaimer: I’m not claiming to be a Haute Couture designer. I’m leaving that up to Lagerfeld and Galliano… it is what inspires me.

The best part of this event wasn’t the runway show, or the beautiful people, it was the support of each other and for Women for Women International. Even if this entire event was done on the street in an alleyway, it would be a dream come true. This article from The Examiner sums up the show and I am so appreciative of the Fashion Examiner, Katherine Limon for noting MinnaK.
